The third annual inter-Science of Learning Centers (iSLC) Student and Postdoctoral Conference will be a meeting of junior researchers from the NSF-funded Science of Learning Centers (SLCs). iSLC 2010 immediately follows CELEST’s annual 4-day International Conference on Cognitive and Neural Systems (ICCNS). Four iSLC participants will receive CELEST-sponsored travel fellowships to cover the cost of also attending the ICCNS conference, which immediately preceeds iSLC in the same location.

The plenary theme for this year’s conference is Learning in Action: Applications and Implementation. During the 3-day iSLC conference, participants from each center and from diverse academic fields will be able to address general and specific issues with one another and share strategies for implementation and application of their research.
